MG Windsor EV Exclusive Pro Launched in India at Rs.17.25 Lakh

Hot on the heels of the Windsor EV Essence Pro launch, MG Motor India has introduced a new Exclusive Pro variant in the Windsor EV lineup. Positioned between the existing Essence and Essence Pro trims, this fresh offering aims to strike the right balance between value and premium features.

Pricing and Availability

The Windsor EV Exclusive Pro is priced at Rs.17.25 lakh (ex-showroom) for outright buyers. Alternatively, under MG’s Battery as a Service (BaaS) program, it can be availed at Rs.12.24 lakh upfront, with a usage charge of 4.5/km. Bookings are now open at a token amount of Rs.11,000, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first week of June 2025.

Powertrain and Range

The Exclusive Pro variant is powered by the same 52.9kWh battery pack found in the top-spec models. Paired with a single electric motor, it offers an impressive range of 449 km on a single charge (MIDC-certified).

Context: Essence Pro Pricing Update

Earlier this month, MG had launched the Windsor EV Essence Pro at an introductory price of Rs.17.50 lakh. Following an overwhelming response of 8,000 bookings within 24 hours, the introductory offer ended, and the new price for the top-spec Essence Pro has been revised to Rs.18.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
