Adding to the excitement, the homegrown automaker has teased what appears to be the first-ever Dark Edition of its upcoming BE 6 electric SUV.

The BE 6 Dark Edition would mark Mahindra’s first electric SUV to get the special Dark Edition treatment. Currently, Mahindra offers such editions on the XUV700 (Ebony Edition) and Scorpio N (Carbon Edition), but without a standardized naming convention for the series.

What to Expect from Mahindra’s Independence Day Event

Mahindra has been steadily building hype with teasers of its Vision T, Vision S, Vision X, and Vision SXT concept SUVs. All of these are expected to be underpinned by a new flexible platform designed to accommodate both internal combustion engines and electric powertrains.
